An annual fall gala uniting beauty and health had Shoppers Drug Mart’s Beauty Boutique on Highway 7 and Ansley Grove Road tickled pink on Sept. 18, 2010. The Pretty in Pink event garnered much attention, with guests enjoying free makeup and skin care consultations as they fundraised money with pretty pink cupcakes by Gloria’s Cakes. Riding & Walking for Humber’s New Hospital

On June 27th, 2010, over 300 riders and walkers helped kick off CIBC’s Wheels for Wellness at Seneca College, King Campus. All the participants enjoyed a day filled with sunshine and great fun. Some of the highlights included a relaxing Massage Centre, a delicious lunch – pizza, sponsored by Pizzaville, hamburgers sponsored by Mike Wholesale Meats and a healthy choice boxed lunch. Harley-Davidson Precious Metal Gala

Harley-Davidson celebrated female empowerment while welcoming close to 400 tastemakers of Toronto to the brand at the second annual Precious Metal Gala. The Fermenting Cellar was converted into a back-lot studio for the faux film shoot “Biker-Chic.” Guests had a chance to experience the sport of motorcycling through interactive stations such as “The Wardrobe,” “The Screen Test,” “The Cover Shot,” “The Pick-Up Shot” and “The Kissing Scene” while sipping “Precious Rocks” martinis. It was truly a memorable evening for Mauro Orrico of Paradigm Promotions on May 6th, 2010 at Famee Furlane Banquet Hall.
