IMG_8465IMG_8494On September 2nd and 3rd, the snip of Fiorio Salon stylists’ scissors and the filing of emery boards did not just help people look fresh and stylish. Charging a special price of  $20 for a haircut with blow-dry and $5 for a mini manicure from 1 to 7 p.m., Fiorio Salon in Vaughan Mills raised $3,500 to benefit the SickKids Foundation in support of Toronto’s world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children.

Above left: Fiorio salon owners Antonio Piro and Terry Vlastaris set up their stations to provide clients with services for a good cause at the Vaughan Mills location. Above right: Fiorio salon owner Manny Molina concentrates on the perfect cut to make both this little boy happy, and help a child in need of important medical treatments.
