Power Of Women Conference

Despite the weather on March 8, 2008, almost 200 businesswomen attended the sixth annual Power of Women Conference in Durham Region. Special guest Alesia Fieldberg (Miss Canada) was surprised to see $300 worth of toonies on a table covered with teddy bears for The Teddy Bears of Hope Campaign for children in Afghanistan. As a premier networking group for female entrepreneurs, executives and business professionals, POWE offers tools, education and support for women in business to grow personally and professionally.
