Colours of Maple: Opening Eyes to True Beauty

Seeing really is believing, especially when you’re taking a glance at Colours of Maple. In the midst of opening its second location in Oak Ridges, the company is enjoying an expanding reputation for offering its own homemade, eco-friendly paint – the only one in Canada. “We’re pioneers in the industry, holding exclusive rights to the technology which we brought from Arizona,” says CEO Fred Vecchio. “You select a colour and we’ll create it on-site with absolute precision, at one third of the cost.” Once the paint is blended using a unique mixing machine, it’s packaged in environment-safe plastic containers with disposable inner pouches.

Holding a shelf life of five years, the product is just one part of a company that treats work like a vocation. “We do more than manufacturing,” Vecchio says. “We specialize in the art of changing the way people see colour.” In-home consultations and on-site interior decorating seminars are a passion for the company. After hosting guest speaker Jeanne Grier this past spring, proceeds from the seminar were donated to SickKids Foundation in support of eye research. It’s one of Colours of Maple’s many key ingredients in a building block of visually blissful expression.

I’ve had the worse experience… Unprofessional staff, Fred Vecchio knows ZERO about paint or business for that matter. If in the area I recommend Centro Paint in Maple, Steeles Paint and Home Depot in Woodbridge.

I was very disappointed with the help i got choosing a colour. They do not sell Benjamin Moore anymore due to problems in the store and they wanted to sell me some paint they make themselves that i never heard of. It was a high pressure sale and my husband was upset and the Fred guy told us to leave and go to Lowe’s if we weren’t happy with his poor service. I guess business is so good they don’t need anymore business. We went to the other Benjamin Moore store on langstaff and they were a great help.

Fred Vecchio didn’t pay his bills! I’ve seen on the front door of the Maple location a notice of the outstanding Lease for over $42,000… This guy is a crook!

    Are both stores closed ?
